This piece is about that quiet moment on a hike when you pause and take in the view. You’ve been focused on the trail… feeling your pack… climbing steady. Then the path opens up and you catch a glimpse of the skyline, the trees you’ve passed, and how far you’ve come.

I painted this from memory, thinking back on hikes like that… where everything slows down just enough to take it all in.
